Korkmaz created practicing molybdomancy, the Turkish lead-pouring ritual believed to repel evil eyes. The process involves pouring molten lead into a cold water-filled pot held above a piece of cloth roofing the subject, followed by interpreting the amorphous formation in relation to the subject’s future. The lead sculptures embodying anatomic abstraction and mythical fundamentalism.
